On October 7, 1952, Vladimir Putin was born, a Russian politician who became President of the Russian Federation after Boris Yeltsin. Putin was born in Leningrad, and his father’s name was Vladimir Spiridonovich Putin. As a child, Putin lived with his family relatively modestly, in an apartment building in Leningrad located on Baskov Street. They reportedly lived on the fifth floor and the building did not have an elevator.

Putin attended elementary school number 193, located not far from the building where he lived. He was allegedly a problematic student, which is why he was not accepted as a pioneer for a long time.

In 1970, Vladimir Putin enrolled at Leningrad State University to study law. He later joined the KGB. Among the things from Putin’s youth, we should also mention that he met his wife Lyudmila through a mutual friend during a visit to the theater, at a time when she was a young flight attendant.
