Vajiralongkorn, the Crown Prince of Thailand and the heir to the throne, was born on this day in 1952.



He is supposed to become the richest king in the world (his father still holds this title). It is interesting to note that Vajiralongkorn is the king’s only son, and has three sisters.

Vajiralongkorn is known as professional soldier, and received his education at  Royal Military College Duntroon (Canberra, Australia). He allegedly flies F-16 fighters.

The Crown Prince of Thailand holds many ranks: General of the Army, Admiral of the Royal Navy,and Air Chief Marshal in the Royal Air Force. He has seven children.
