Inventor Alexander Graham Bell said trough the phone to his assistant: “Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you.”

On this day the first telephone conversation in world history was made. Namely, on that day the inventor Alexander Graham Bell, using the newly constructed telephone device, said through a microphone to his assistant: “Mr. Watson, come here, I want to see you.”

Watson heard it clearly through the phone in the next room. It is interesting that the first version of the phone used water as a medium for the transmission of vibrations. Later, the water was removed and the phones used only a metal membrane.
